Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at the Coast Guard Exchange. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and directing new business programs throughout the Coast Guard Exchange System.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director of Business Development in the development and implementation of new business programs.
  • Administer, evaluate, and analyze plans, policies, and procedures for new business programs.
  • Interpret applicable directives and regulations.
  • Establish procedures for implementation of vending and concession service operations.
  • Develop, implement, and analyze business development projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, data science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in business development, including market analysis, program evaluation, and implementation of new business initiatives.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, and creation of complex dashboards and reports.
  • Experience in applying statistical methods and financial modeling techniques using Excel to assess and project the viability and financial impact of business initiatives.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analytics, including proficiency in data analytics software and SQL for large-scale data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of advanced experience with analytics, including use of statistical analysis tools, data visualization, and interpretation of complex data sets.
  • Strong knowledge of both APF and NAF policies and procedures.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence platforms such as MicroStrategy or PowerBI.
