Position Overview

Compensation: $56 - $75 per hour
Working Hours: A shift (8am - 5pm)

As an Electrical Test Engineer at IntelliPro Group Inc., you will play a crucial role in the development and validation of avionics systems. Your expertise will contribute to the planning, execution, and reporting of comprehensive testing protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute detailed test plans for avionics development and qualification.
  • Oversee test execution and ensure Technicians are equipped to perform tests effectively.
  • Analyze Environmental and EMI data to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Utilize measurement techniques to identify root causes of failures in avionics testing.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with test execution.
  • Collaborate with both internal and external laboratories to facilitate test procedures.
  • Support the development of test equipment and methodologies.
  • Conduct work in an environmental and EMI lab setting with proficiency.
  • Ensure traceability and verification of hardware requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, computer, aerospace engineering, physics, or a related discipline.
  • Over 6 years of experience in hardware development, integration, systems engineering, or testing.
  • At least 2 years of experience in planning, executing, and reporting on electronics testing.
  • Experience with hardware requirements traceability and verification processes.
  • Strong practical and analytical knowledge of both analog and digital electronics.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly regarding technical subjects.
  • Ability to foster trust and maintain professional relationships in a collaborative environment.
  • U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with industry standards such as RTCA/DO-160, MIL-STD-810, and MIL-STD-461.
  • Knowledge of various sensors including LVDT, RTD, thermocouples, pressure transducers, resolvers, and accelerometers.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and MATLAB, as well as Linux environments.
  • Experience in configuring and troubleshooting test networks.
  • Background in programming, debugging, and troubleshooting microcontroller-based devices.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like git for software development.
  • Graduate degree in electrical, computer, aerospace engineering, or a related field is a plus.
