ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Averro is on the lookout for a skilled Test Engineer specializing in Fluid Components II for a leading space exploration organization. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in fluid components who are eager to advance their careers in the aerospace sector.

  • Develop and document test plans and procedures for fluid components, including environmental qualification and acceptance testing.
  • Contribute to the design, budgeting, procurement, verification, and integration of support equipment.
  • Ensure configuration control, calibration, and traceability of fluids test equipment.
  • Engage in gated design and test readiness evaluations.
  • Operate and maintain pneumatic and cryogenic systems and associated control software.
  • Adhere to safety protocols during test planning and execution.
  • Diagnose real-time anomalies during testing.
  • Process, analyze, and archive test data to support verification activities.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, civil engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proficiency with pressurized systems; experience in developing, documenting, and executing test procedures for servicing or leak-checking GN2 systems.
  • Ability to interpret P&ID schematics and layout designs.
