This position is also eligible for a holiday bonus.Role Summary
Support the facility and manufacturing operations across the plant, focusing on mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical control systems, as well as life safety systems.

Design, budget, and implement enhancements to processes and facility equipment aimed at boosting efficiency, cutting costs, and improving reliability.

Collaborate closely with Facilities staff, Maintenance, Engineering, Production, and external contractors to prepare, coordinate, and execute expense and capital projects as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement repairs and/or modifications to existing facility and plant equipment.

- Develop facility plans, layouts, and drawings for renovations and new construction projects, including new equipment installations and commissioning.

- Coordinate project work with maintenance, engineering, and production departments to ensure completion within budget, on schedule, and with minimal production downtime.

- Create work scope documents, solicit bids, and select contractors as necessary to complete tasks. Act as project manager during implementation, ensuring all contractors adhere to safety requirements.

- Identify opportunities for upgrading or enhancing factory equipment or automation systems to improve reliability, reduce costs, or enhance efficiency. Generate project cost and savings estimates for budgeting and assist in developing capital project proposals. Execute approved projects.

- Coordinate and develop work scopes for external maintenance and contractor services for tasks including but not limited to mechanical services, HVAC, landscaping, fire protection, roofing, concrete/paving, and structural work.

- Solicit bids, negotiate service contracts, and oversee implementation, ensuring all service contractors comply with safety standards.

- Assist maintenance technicians, process engineers, and production personnel in troubleshooting factory equipment and control systems, including building management systems, lighting control systems, VFDs, PLCs, and other manufacturing control systems.

- Ensure compliance with PACCAR policies and procedures, as well as adherence to applicable NEC, NFPA, Building, and Energy codes.

- Provide maintenance supervision support as needed.

Qualifications & Skills
- A 4-year engineering degree is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and job requirements.
- Familiarity with building, electrical, mechanical, and industrial life safety codes and requirements.
- Experience with maintenance and testing of medium voltage electrical equipment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Hands-on experience with industrial controls equipment, automation software, Ignition SCADA, and PLC programming is preferred but not required.
Salary Information
At PACCAR, we value talent and promote growth and development. The salary range for this position is $96,700 to $137,600 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for a full range of benefit options listed above.
