Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Banking Relationship Manager to join our team at City National Bank. As a key member of our business banking team, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with business banking clients in assigned business segments and geographic areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Relationship Development: Identify and develop profitable relationships with prospects and clients consistent with the objectives of the bank through extensive business development activity.
  • Client Service: Work closely with existing and new clients to understand their specific financial requirements and provide effective solutions, while maintaining the credit quality standards of the bank.
  • Portfolio Management: Develop relationships and support other CNB departments and colleagues to provide customers and prospects with the solutions recommended.
  • Business Development: Prepare a Relationship Plan and calling schedule for each client or prospect in conjunction with the strategic business development program.
  • Credit and Risk Management: Negotiate transactions; document and close loan transactions, ensuring conformance with Bank policy and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of banking experience required, with a minimum of 8 years of commercial lending experience within the segment and 5 years of credit experience.
  • Skills: Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, good problem-solving skills, and a working knowledge of Bank operations, policies and procedures, and regulatory compliance.

City National Bank offers a competitive compensation package, including a starting base salary of $92,114 - $156,880 per year, with the potential for bonus and/or commissions.
