Position Overview

The salary range for this role is $175,000-$220,000.

The Vice President of Brand & Campaigns will be a globally experienced leader in brand and campaign management, responsible for shaping the United Nations Foundation's brand identity and executing impactful, mission-driven campaigns and creative collaborations. This role requires a champion of exceptional creative work that enhances the Foundation's reputation and drives significant advocacy and fundraising results.

The ideal candidate will possess strong storytelling abilities and be adept at managing both quick-turnaround projects and complex, multi-stakeholder campaigns. They will cultivate a network of top-tier talent from various sectors, including Advertising, Marketing, PR, Production, Media, and Talent, to collaborate on significant global initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Chief Communications & Marketing Officer and the award-winning Global Communications & Engagement team to lead brand-building initiatives and campaigns.
  • Develop long-term strategies for brand, campaign, and influencer engagement, fostering a collaborative environment that integrates strategic marketing, philanthropy, and online engagement.
  • Establish strong operational relationships with UN counterparts and leaders in the international creative community to generate innovative initiatives.
  • Advise policy and program teams on brand-building efforts and create world-class communication assets.
  • Engage and recruit leading creative talent and influencers to support the Foundation's mission.
  • Oversee the production of original creative concepts and provide expert guidance on campaign and brand strategies to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in creative production, with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Experience with non-profit or multilateral organizations, particularly with the United Nations, is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand and creative campaigns in international contexts.
  • Strong understanding of global policy issues, the Sustainable Development Goals, and related trends.
  • Experience in messaging strategies for resource mobilization and fundraising.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Exceptional team management and facilitation skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing budgets and external agencies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Integrity and commitment to the organization's values.
