Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Operations Specialist to join our team at Helm Point Solutions. As an Area Security Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the security needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Awareness Programs: Assist managers and supervisors in establishing and conducting security awareness programs tailored to the unique needs of the area supported.
  • Security Instructing: Instruct personnel on their individual security responsibilities and reportable requirements as outlined in the Security Executive Agent Directive 3 (SEAD 3) and site policy.
  • Security Incident Reporting: Handle and report security incidents efficiently and effectively.
  • AIS Equipment Management: Oversee the entry and exit requests for Automated Information Systems (AIS) equipment.
  • Personnel Security Adjudications: Coordinate suspensions/revocations of personnel; perform required debriefings and update all security repositories.
  • Liaison for Information Security Division: Act as the primary point of contact for the Information Security Division.
  • Operations Security Support: Aid in promoting and maintaining operations security.
  • Program Protection Plan Development: Assist with the development and implementation of program protection plans.
  • Controlled Access Programs and Special Access Programs: Provide support and ensure compliance with security protocols.
  • Physical Security Liaison: Oversee the creation and accreditation/de-accreditation of SCIFs/secure rooms.
  • FOIA Requests: Ensure timely completion of Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.
  • Visitor Access Request Approval Processes: Manage and approve visitor access requests.
  • eCourier Card Approvals: Oversee and approve eCourier card requests.
  • Security Access Verifications: Conduct security access verifications and research personnel information.
  • Safe and Cabinet Management: Ensure safes and cabinets are cleared/sanitized of classified material prior to turn-in/decommission.
  • Safe Combination Lock Management: Manage and change safe combination locks as needed.
Mission Support
  • Emergency Management: Provide support for emergency management initiatives.
  • New Employee Orientation: Support new employee orientation and ensure all security protocols are communicated effectively.
  • Customer Service: Provide research and follow-up assistance for all customer service calls.
Requirements
  • Security Clearance: TS/SCI (able to pass CI poly)
  • Experience: 7 - 14 years of relevant experience in a similar scope of work
  • Education: Bachelors Degree in a relevant field of study
