Currently, we are seeking a dedicated and career-focused Security Program Specialist 2 (SPS 2) to join our team and deliver exceptional support to our clients. The Security Program Specialist will assist in delivering comprehensive security solutions for a multi-faceted and intricate organization under the guidance of the program security manager.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Address a variety of security matters with the Directorates and Offices in physical, personnel, operational, technical, information, industrial, and information system security.

- Provide guidance to defense contractors across all industrial security domains.

- Thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities frequently shift.

- Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Conduct Classification Reviews.

- Prepare and review DD 254s.

- Review and prepare CDCWs.

- Coordinate Co-Use Agreements and Memorandums of Understanding.

- Manage and prepare Security Engineering Service Requests per client specifications.

- Assist defense contractors with personnel security issues; conduct debriefs, courier briefs, and ensure program-related information is accurately marked in accordance with Executive Order 13526.

- Perform additional duties as required.

**Position Requirements:**

- High School Diploma with 8 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience.

- Proficient in implementing Intelligence Community Directives and NRO Directives and Instructions.

- In-depth knowledge of NRO and/or IC security policies, procedures, tools, and databases.

- Proven ability to enforce Government security requirements for facility accreditation and information systems certification.

- Established effective working relationships with other Government Agencies and mission partners.

- Strong analytical skills to independently assess complex information and make informed decisions.

- Capability to prioritize competing tasks and manage both long-term projects and immediate obligations.

- Substantial experience in providing risk-managed security recommendations to program managers and supervisors.

- Excellent presentation skills for delivering clear and effective briefings on complex topics to diverse audiences.

- Familiarity with SSRDB, NAAP, badge requests, and visit requests.

- Knowledge of ICD 503 and 705.

- Understanding of NISPOM and JAFAN.

- Experience in overseeing Contractor Company PSO activities.

- Proven experience collaborating with industrial security teams.

- Ability to mentor junior PSOs effectively.

- Strong independent and team-oriented work capabilities.

- Excellent communication skills for engaging with government personnel.

- Competence in developing and executing specific security tasks in support of a SCIF environment.

- Familiarity with acquisition lifecycle security requirements.

- Capacity to handle high-level, complex security issues with discretion.

- Expertise in research, analysis, and documentation.

- Outstanding interpersonal skills.

- Strategic and tactical thinking abilities.

- Proficient in managing complex security classification matters.

- Demonstrated capability to identify and evaluate sources for classification determinations.

**Security Requirements:** Must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

**Physical Requirements:**

- Must be able to remain stationary for 50% of the time.

- Must be able to communicate and exchange information effectively with peers and senior personnel.

- Regularly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
