Applicants must possess U.S. Citizenship and hold an active DoD Top Secret clearance. Additionally, the ability to obtain and sustain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

The Lead Security Operations Specialist will serve as a subject matter authority in all facets of physical security. This role may also be utilized by the Government Security Team for SCIF Construction assistance and as a supplementary Program Security Administrator.

Required Qualifications:

Candidates should have a minimum of 7 years of experience or a bachelor’s degree coupled with 1 year of pertinent experience in the following areas:

  • Proficient in developing and implementing Construction Security Plans (CSPs).
  • Technical knowledge in interpreting and applying ICD/S 705 Technical Specifications.
  • Expertise in managing Access Control Systems (ACS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and closed-circuit television systems.
  • Experience in formulating and executing Emergency Action Plans (EAP).
  • Conducting thorough physical security assessments of SCIFs.
  • Completing Fixed Facility Checklists (FFC) and TEMPEST Checklists.
  • Applying security in-depth principles related to Facility Security Levels (FSL).
  • Experience in Antiterrorism Force Protection (ATFP).
  • Proficient in utilizing the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SPFC).
  • Physical Security Certification (PSC).
  • 7 or more years of experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) software.
  • 5 years of experience in operating an ACS.
  • Experience in completing an ICD/S 705 Shipboard Checklist.
  • Experience in badge creation and issuance.
  • Oversight of mobile SCIF construction.
  • Knowledge of TEMPEST countermeasures.
  • CDSE PSC Certification or equivalent in the Intelligence Community.
