About the Role

GuidePoint Security is seeking a highly skilled Vulnerability Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for executing vulnerability scans, analyzing scan results, and reporting on findings. You will also be responsible for building and implementing automated vulnerability workflows and systems for efficient monitoring and tracking of vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute Vulnerability Scans: Conduct thorough vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats and risks.
  • Analyze Scan Results: Analyze scan results to identify vulnerabilities and prioritize remediation efforts.
  • Report on Findings: Provide detailed reports on findings to stakeholders, including recommendations for remediation.
  • Implement Automated Workflows: Design and implement automated workflows and systems for efficient monitoring and tracking of vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a robust security posture across the enterprise.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 Years of Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in vulnerability management or vulnerability assessments.
  • Public Trust Clearance: Must possess an active Public Trust clearance or be eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Cybersecurity Metrics: Experience developing information security and vulnerability metrics for government mandates and initiatives.
  • Cyber Threat Research: Experience performing cyber threat research and disseminating intel to various stakeholders in a classified setting.
