Job Overview

As a Commercial Tire Service Technician, you will deliver tire and tire-related solutions for OTR (Off-the-Road) and smaller tires directly at the customer's site, whether that be on the road, at a job location, or in a service facility, tailored to the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute mounting, demounting, balancing, and repair of OTR and other tires and wheels as instructed by the service or center manager.
  • Efficiently organize the work area, vehicles, and necessary tools and equipment to ensure optimal job performance and safety.
  • Adhere to safety protocols at all times, following MSHA and DOT standards, as well as company policies for safe and effective service delivery.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of tires, vehicles, and equipment before and after service, documenting findings and suggesting additional services to customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to build long-lasting relationships and enhance the company's reputation.
  • Operate company vehicles in a safe manner, complying with all relevant laws and company policies.
  • Perform daily inspections of service vehicles, ensuring cleanliness and organization of work areas, and reporting any maintenance needs to management.
  • Engage in additional service-related tasks such as wheel refurbishment, tire foam filling, and tire/casing handling as required.
  • Conduct fleet inspections as directed.
  • Maintain all necessary certifications for the position, including TIA certifications and annual MSHA training.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift up to 125 lbs.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is mandatory.
  • DOT medical card and TIA certification are required.
