Overview
A-Tech Commercial Parts & Service is seeking a skilled Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service Technician with a focus on Hot Side repairs. This role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing cooking appliances at various client locations. Our technicians are also responsible for conducting preventative maintenance (PM) inspections and responding to urgent service requests for equipment such as walk-in coolers and freezers, as well as reach-in coolers and freezers.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial cooking appliances.
- Provide respectful, courteous, and professional service to customers and colleagues.
- Complete service requests efficiently and within designated timeframes.
- Communicate effectively with customers, management, dispatch, and sales teams.
- Participate in a regular rotation of after-hours and weekend on-call duties.
- Identify potential new clients and explore additional opportunities within existing accounts.
- Maintain the service vehicle in good condition.
- Order necessary parts and complete required documentation.
- Attend training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Experience in servicing cooking equipment such as ovens, combi ovens, fryers, etc.
- Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical aptitude.
- Exceptional customer communication skills.
- Commitment to punctuality, organization, and hard work.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Pass a drug screening and background check.
- Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience with commercial cooking appliances.
- CFESA certification and related training.
- Minimum of two years' experience in repairing gas, electrical, and steam equipment.
- Proficient in computer usage.
