Position – IT Field Support Technician
Location: Windsor Locks, CT
Duration: Long-term engagement
Compensation: $21.50 per hour on W2 plus mileage reimbursement
Job Responsibilities:
This role involves traveling to various client locations to provide technical support and repair services for computer systems, including desktops, laptops, and printers.
Technicians will be expected to service both commercial offices and residential properties, ensuring effective troubleshooting and repair.
Use of personal vehicle is required for travel to customer sites, typically within a 30 to 50-mile radius from the designated pickup location.
Professional demeanor is essential, including appropriate attire and communication skills.
Willingness to work overtime and manage extensive travel is necessary.
Essential Qualifications:
Certification in Dell or similar product lines is advantageous.
Proven experience with laptops and desktops is essential.
Strong background in break/fix scenarios is required.
Additional Information:
Completion of Dell certification training (available online) is mandatory and provided at no cost.
Contractual agreement with company terms and conditions is required.
Compensation is biweekly based on approved hours worked.
Mileage incurred during travel will be reimbursed; please inquire for details.
It is advisable to have a backup vehicle available in case of breakdowns.
