Join the Mitchell Selig Ford Family in an exciting role as an Automotive Mobile Technician. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of our innovative Ford Mobile Service Unit, which is transforming the automotive repair landscape. Initially, you will engage in both workshop repairs and mobile service tasks, with the potential to evolve into a dedicated on-the-road role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute recalls following manufacturers' technical guidelines
- Deliver prompt and effective repair and maintenance services to clients' vehicles at various locations, including residential and commercial sites
- Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle problems utilizing electronic diagnostic tools and technical documentation
- Maintain precise records of all services performed and parts utilized
- Communicate clearly with clients to explain repair procedures and provide cost estimates
- Stay informed about industry advancements and participate in training and continuing education as required
- Follow all safety protocols and keep a tidy and organized workspace
- Collaborate with fellow technicians and service advisors to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience as an automotive technician or mobile technician is a plus
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude, including proficiency in using diagnostic tools and interpreting technical manuals
- Knowledge of vehicle systems, components, and repair methodologies
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a passion for interacting with clients
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
