Position – IT Field Support Technician
Location: Windsor Locks, CT
Duration: Long-term opportunity
Compensation: $21.50/HR ON W2 + Mileage reimbursement
Driving Requirements:
This role involves traveling to various client locations from the designated parts pickup site.
Technicians will be required to visit both commercial offices and residential properties to perform repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance on computers, desktops, laptops, and printers.
Utilization of personal vehicles is necessary for providing service to clients.
Experience with Dell products is preferred, as the majority of work will involve these systems.
Travel radius will typically be between 30 to 50 miles from the parts pickup location.
Professionalism in communication and appearance is essential.
Willingness to work overtime and cover extensive driving distances weekly is expected.
Essential Skills:
Certification in Dell or similar product manufacturing is advantageous.
Proven experience with laptops and desktops is required.
Strong background in Break/Fix services is necessary.
Key Considerations:
Completion of Dell certification training (available online) is required at no cost.
Acceptance of a contract agreement outlining company terms and conditions is mandatory.
Compensation will be disbursed biweekly for approved hours worked.
Mileage will be reimbursed; further details can be discussed.
It is advisable to have a backup vehicle plan in case of car breakdowns.
