Reports To: Human Resources & Labor Relations Manager

Position Overview: This role is pivotal in supporting the Human Resources & Labor Relations functions within our extensive facility. The ideal candidate will play a key role in fostering a productive and safe work environment for our workforce. This position is integral to the coordination of HR best practices that cultivate a high-performance culture focused on safety, quality, and employee development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist employees with inquiries regarding benefits and requirements.
  • Act as a liaison for employees concerning benefits and payroll, collaborating with corporate departments to resolve issues.
  • Oversee data collection and analysis for the company’s affirmative action plan.
  • Prepare monthly KPI reports as required.
  • Manage exit interview processes and notify relevant personnel of terminations.
  • Handle requests for employment verifications and other employment-related information.
  • Maintain organized files and databases related to personnel, benefits, and recruitment.
  • Facilitate recalls and layoffs of production staff, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Conduct regular audits of personnel files and compliance with employment laws.
  • Coordinate employee relations matters with the HR Administration Manager for timely resolution.
  • Ensure that bulletin boards are maintained in compliance with legal standards.
  • Support training programs and keep training records updated.
  • Commit to and promote Quality and Environmental, Health & Safety Policies.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in the industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with ADP/SAP systems is a plus.
  • Understanding of HR policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of Employment Law (EEO, ADA, AA, FMLA, etc.).
  • Awareness of compensation practices and labor union relations.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and work independently.
