City Experiences, a leader in the hospitality sector, is in search of a Regional Sales Account Manager for our City Cruises division.

The position offers a competitive base pay of $31.25 per hour, complemented by a sales commission structure that can yield an additional $39,000 upon achieving the established sales targets. Should sales performance exceed the 100% benchmark, further financial incentives may be available as per the commission framework.

As we often say, why work when you can cruise? The successful Regional Account Manager will effectively promote group and charter services through both inside and outside sales strategies to meet regional sales objectives.


About You:
The ideal candidate will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody the principles of our RESPECT Service System.

Key Responsibilities:


Achieve or surpass annual personal sales targets set by leadershipDevelop a thorough understanding of customer and market demandsImplement the sales strategy utilizing effective sales methodologiesGenerate leads primarily through telemarketing and networking with existing clients, while also participating in trade shows and industry eventsConvert prospects into clients through successful telephone sales interactions and effective closing techniquesIdentify customer needs and leverage extensive product knowledge to craft compelling proposals.

Foster mutually beneficial relationships by balancing company and customer interestsDeliver persuasive presentations in person and over the phone during consultations and site visitsProactively upsell existing clients to higher-value offeringsAddress customer objections and resolve issuesBuild relationships with associations and business organizations to generate referralsEnsure timely responses to customer inquiriesCommunicate complete and accurate product information to the operations team for effective service deliveryFollow up with customers within 24 hours post-cruise to nurture the account and to: Thank clientsDiscuss future eventsGather feedbackSet up subsequent meetingsRebook for future occasionsObtain referralsCollaborate with the Director of Sales to address customer concernsUtilize Salesforce (CRM software) to strategically plan and manage activities in assigned markets, tracking productivity of sales effortsEmploy ANCHOR (reservation software) for accurate order bookingsMaintain personal organization; manage time effectively, prioritize tasks appropriately, and keep precise recordsWork with Sales Assistant to process payments, ensuring accounts receivable adhere to aging guidelinesAdditional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:


Event sales experience is essentialMinimum of 2 years of overall sales experience, including at least 1 year in outbound telephone salesA bachelor's degree is preferred, ideally in a field relevant to the roleHospitality experience is a plus, though not mandatoryProficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software is required.

Strong analytical skills to identify and capitalize on sales opportunitiesSales primarily conducted via telephone; excellent verbal communication skills are essentialProposal writing skills are necessary, with a focus on effective written communicationAbility to establish and maintain productive working relationships as required by the roleStrong persuasive and influential abilitiesDemonstrated leadership capabilitiesAbility to listen attentively, assess situations, identify relevant issues, propose solutions, and achieve consensus.
