Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled individual to join our Accounting Department as a Fixed Asset Accountant. This role is crucial in performing financial analysis and supporting the generation of accurate financial statements.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct month-end, quarter-end, and year-end account analysis, including preparation of relevant journal entries.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to reflect operational performance.
  • Assist in the daily cash transactions process between Treasury and Accounting.
  • Support the Accounts Receivable payment application process.
  • Document and establish policies in key areas of responsibility.
  • Exhibit a collaborative and positive attitude within the team.
  • Prepare required Government Reports periodically.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Engage in additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Safety Responsibilities:
Ensure personal safety and the safety of others, including employees, vendors, and guests. Provide visible leadership and maintain awareness of safety standards. Report and investigate incidents as per company procedures.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Record fixed asset transactions in the sub-ledger, including transfers, retirements, and additions.
  • Review and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts monthly.
  • Analyze Construction in Progress (CIP) accounts and manage project systems.
  • Support capital expenditure transactions for monthly reporting.
  • Update documentation for policies in key areas of responsibility.
  • Prepare Ad Hoc Reports as required.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sound reasoning skills and the ability to follow directions.
