Senior Financial Accountant

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Accountant:

  • Conduct thorough reviews, analyses, and preparation of monthly journal entries for the month-end closing process, including historical adjustments, amortizations, and other necessary entries.
  • Evaluate and analyze balance sheet account reconciliations for various legal entities, ensuring appropriate explanations are provided.
  • Prepare Fixed Asset roll forwards for multiple entities, including depreciation and schedules.
  • Generate and analyze statutory reconciliations.
  • Review and assess variance analysis explanations.
  • Support internal and external audit processes by preparing and/or reviewing fluctuations for significant accounts across periods, including the preparation of other audit schedules for designated balance sheet accounts as requested by external auditors.
  • Examine intercompany transactions to confirm proper accounting treatment.

Qualifications for the Senior Financial Accountant:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in general ledger accounting and financial analysis.
  • Experience with international currency transactions.
  • Knowledge of Fixed Assets, including depreciation and schedules.
  • Familiarity with Oracle or other integrated accounting software is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
