Your Responsibilities

As a House Attendant, you will uphold the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of the hotel while delivering outstanding service to our guests.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining cleanliness in the lobby, hallways, public areas, and exterior spaces.
  • Preparing meeting rooms in accordance with event specifications.
  • Conducting deep cleaning tasks, including shampooing carpets in guest rooms and public areas as assigned.
  • Setting up and managing complimentary hotel lobby functions, such as morning coffee service and evening concierge events.
  • Delivering housekeeping items to guest rooms upon request.
  • Receiving assignments, keys, and special requests from your supervisor at the start of your shift.
  • Checking and replenishing cleaning supplies and tools.
  • Responding promptly and courteously to guest requests.
  • Returning lost items to the Housekeeping Department with proper documentation.

At Kimpton, we all wear multiple hats, and you may be required to take on additional responsibilities beyond this job description.

What You Bring

A High School Diploma is preferred, along with at least one year of experience in customer service or a similar role. Previous experience in housekeeping is advantageous. A passion for customer service, strong verbal communication skills, and basic writing abilities are essential. Flexibility in your schedule is important, as you may need to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range for this position is $20.00 to $22.00. This range reflects our good faith belief regarding the compensation for this role at the time of posting. Final pay may vary based on factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skills, and geographic location.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and other benefits for eligible employees.

Note: Compensation is not considered earned until it is vested and determinable. The availability of bonuses or commissions is at the company's discretion and may be modified in accordance with the law.
