Position Overview

As a Guest Services Coordinator at Parker Palm Springs, LLC, you will play a vital role in ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include managing incoming communications and facilitating guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Interaction Duties:

  1. Respond to all inquiries from in-house guests promptly and professionally.
  2. Handle incoming calls to the establishment and direct them appropriately.
  3. Possess comprehensive knowledge of the amenities and services available to guests.
  4. Manage the check-in and check-out processes with accuracy.
  5. Exhibit proper telephone etiquette at all times.
  6. Assist the concierge team in providing guests with information about hotel offerings and local attractions.
  7. Collect and verify necessary registration and payment details, ensuring accuracy in rates and departure dates.
  8. Maintain an understanding of room availability and status.
  9. Update room status in coordination with the housekeeping team.

Communication Responsibilities:

  1. Have a thorough understanding of room configurations, types, and pricing.
  2. Coordinate with housekeeping to communicate updates regarding room status, including late checkouts and special requests.
  3. Utilize the hotel’s two-way communication systems with proper etiquette.
  4. Effectively manage guest concerns and requests related to room accommodations.
  5. Understand and communicate the hotel’s cancellation and pet policies.
  6. Be knowledgeable about the no-show policy.

System Management Duties:

  1. Accurately input guest information into the property management system during check-in.
  2. Update guest accounts in the system as necessary.
  3. Ensure proper payment is secured at check-in and for extended stays.
  4. Verify that rate information in the system aligns with registration details.
  5. Confirm that departure dates are accurately reflected in the system.
  6. Post miscellaneous charges to guest accounts as required.
  7. Process cash transactions according to the established procedures at the end of each shift.
  8. Conduct cash counts at the beginning and end of each shift.
  9. Monitor guest accounts for credit limit exceedances and report to management.
  10. Facilitate guest check-outs and maintain a copy of the account statement for records.

Compensation: The pay rate for this position is $18.00 per hour.
