About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Compass Group, North America. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cooks and other food-service associates.
  • Ensure that all food safety and sanitation procedures are followed at all times.
  • Monitor inventory and deliveries of product and supplies, and inform the Executive Chef of any shortages or issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume food service environment.
  • Proven track record of success in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
