About the Role

Mangos Dockside Bistro is seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in managing the kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
  • Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, as well as company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements
  • 3+ years of formal culinary experience or food service management
  • Exceptional cooking skills and knowledge of various cooking methods
  • Ability to multitask and work quickly under pressure
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
