About the Role

Morrison Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary department, you will be responsible for the successful operation of our kitchen, including supervision, preparation, and cooking of various food items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing cost controls and expenditures for the account
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and create menus that meet the needs of our clients
  • Produce and execute catering events with precision and attention to detail
  • Develop and implement new culinary programs in conjunction with our marketing and culinary teams
Requirements
  • A.S. or equivalent experience in culinary arts or a related field
  • Progressive culinary/kitchen management experience, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • Catering experience a plus, with a strong understanding of high-volume, complex foodservice operations
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Outlook, email, and the internet
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on client satisfaction and team collaboration
