Job Overview

The Head of Marketing Operations will be responsible for overseeing strategic planning, project management, and the optimization of marketing processes, technologies, and data analytics.

This position will ensure that the marketing team functions at maximum efficiency, driving growth and enhancing return on investment (ROI).

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in marketing operations, data analysis, and technology, with a proven history of managing extensive marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Implementation:
- Formulate and execute a comprehensive marketing operations strategy that aligns with the company's overarching marketing objectives.
- Lead the planning and execution of large-scale marketing campaigns, ensuring seamless integration with business goals.
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and utilization.

Project Management:
- Develop and implement a detailed project plan outlining key milestones, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as necessary.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks that could affect project success.

Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as the primary liaison for enterprise-level projects, ensuring clear communication among stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates and presentations to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Incorporate feedback from various departments to refine project objectives at each milestone.

Team Leadership:
- Lead and coordinate a cross-functional team, including marketing, communications, and external partners.
- Cultivate a collaborative and motivated team environment, offering guidance and support to team members.
- Ensure alignment among team members regarding project goals and deliverables.

Process Improvement:
- Streamline marketing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and boost productivity.
- Implement best practices for campaign management, lead generation, and customer engagement.
- Continuously assess and improve marketing workflows for optimal performance.

Technology Oversight:
- Oversee the selection and management of marketing technology platforms (e.g., CRM, marketing automation, analytics tools).
- Ensure effective integration of the marketing technology stack to support marketing objectives.
- Stay informed about emerging marketing technologies and trends, recommending new tools as necessary.

Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Develop a robust marketing analytics framework to assess campaign performance, customer behavior, and marketing ROI.
- Provide regular insights and reports to the executive team, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
- Utilize data-driven insights to guide marketing strategies and decision-making processes.

Team Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing operations team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, encouraging continuous learning and professional growth.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback to team members.

Cross-Department Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments, including Sales, IT, Finance, and Product, to ensure alignment and support for marketing initiatives.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure effective lead management and conversion processes.
- Partner with the product team to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches.

Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure all marketing activities adhere to relevant regulations and company policies.
- Implement data privacy and security practices to protect customer information and maintain compliance with legal requirements.
Qualifications

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is preferred.

Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years in marketing operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.

Skills:
- Strong strategic planning and project management capabilities.
- Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Proficiency in marketing technology platforms and tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.

Additional Information

In accordance with pay transparency laws, the expected salary range for this position is between $100,171.61 and $175,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience, training, geographic location, licensure, certifications, market factors, departmental budgets, and responsibilities.
