Position Overview:

The Head of Lending Operations will oversee the sales performance and operational enhancements within the Lending division. This leadership role involves managing the daily activities of Loan Originators, Sales Enablement, and Sales Associates across various regions in the United States. The individual will report directly to the Chief Lending Officer & Co-Founder.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership:
    • Oversee lender activities to meet monthly loan targets.
    • Manage and develop Vice Presidents and Senior Vice Presidents of Lending.
    • Facilitate new Loan Originator onboarding and improve ramp-up times.
    • Act as the primary contact for resolving daily operational challenges.
    • Maintain a tracking system for new Loan Originators and manage performance evaluations.
    • Guide career development for team members aiming for advancement.
    • Effectively communicate and influence at all organizational levels.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement policies that enhance loan volume.
    • Ensure high levels of customer service through proactive communication.
    • Anticipate challenges and engage team members to resolve issues swiftly.
  • Sales Management:
    • Develop a premier sales enablement and training platform.
    • Manage projects and create sales tools to enhance team performance.
    • Work with Operations to launch new products and optimize sales processes.
    • Research market conditions in various regions to align lending strategies.
    • Assist lenders in identifying suitable products for their markets.
    • Stay ahead of market trends, pricing, and product offerings.
    • Oversee pipeline management and create analytical dashboards.
    • Conduct monthly demand planning and quarterly forecasts.
  • Training and Development:
    • Collaborate with leadership to refine sales processes and improve efficiencies.
    • Partner with sales methodology experts to evaluate program success.
    • Assess client needs and monitor competitive landscape.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate or mortgage lending with a focus on sales leadership.
  • Strong understanding of the lending industry and business acumen.
  • Residing in the Chicagoland area or willing to relocate.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with a significant presence in the office.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
