Key Responsibilities:

As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will be tasked with formulating a comprehensive testing strategy and detailed test plans to meet specified objectives and requirements.

Your role will involve overseeing the necessary resources to ensure all phases of testing events are executed effectively, including planning, execution, analysis, and reporting.

You will delegate tasks and guide the successful implementation of testing events in alignment with established plans and within designated timelines.

Utilizing risk management processes, you will identify and mitigate risks associated with test planning and address issues that arise during execution.

Additionally, you will resolve any programmatic and technical conflicts that may occur throughout the testing process.

It will be your responsibility to present test outcomes in a clear and concise manner, providing stakeholders with valuable insights regarding the system's performance against the defined objectives and requirements.

You will also brief the testing team on design plans and results.

Moreover, you will develop test cases and procedures that align with the established requirements and objectives, as well as create operational scenarios to support testing activities.

Collaboration is key; you will work within a team environment to keep customers, management, and testing participants informed about the progress of testing events and any specific technical or programmatic issues that require attention.

Lastly, you will track system issues using configuration management tools.

Qualifications:

To qualify for this position, you should possess:

  • A minimum of four years of experience in quality assurance or testing.
  • A solid understanding of Scientific Test and Analysis Techniques (STAT) and Design of Experiments (DoE).
  • Experience in project management and configuration management.
  • Familiarity with testing support tools, including modeling and simulation tools, data collection and analysis tools, test automation tools, and network analyzers.
  • Knowledge of various testing methodologies such as Scenario, Negative, Regression, and Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information effectively.
  • Experience in developing comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, reports, procedures, problem reports, architecture diagrams, and briefings.
  • A commitment to staying current in your field, understanding emerging processes, methodologies, and technological advancements.
  • The ability to provide timely and accurate testing expertise in support of assigned tasks.

Security Clearance: An active Secret clearance is required.

Desired Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications include:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Certification from the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) or CSTP-X.
  • Certification as a Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Certification as a Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
  • Knowledge of USMC C4I systems and MAGTF architectures.
