Position Overview

This product serves as a crucial element of our merchant services and supports various other offerings.

As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating effectively with fellow engineers and product teams to pragmatically design and develop software solutions.
  • Creating automated tests to oversee and uphold the integrity of ReCharge product functionalities as our codebase evolves.
  • Evaluating merge requests and partnering with engineers to comprehend and assess code as it is deployed.
  • Guiding junior SDETs and participating in on-call rotations as necessary to ensure product support.
  • Leveraging your expertise to navigate engineering challenges.
About You

Qualifications:

  • Typically, 5+ years of relevant software development experience in Python, Node.js, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript.
  • Experience with various automated testing frameworks, including Playwright, TestCafe, or similar E2E testing tools.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Prior experience in e-commerce is preferred.
  • Experience with analytics or time-series data products is advantageous.
