Position Overview

The Quality Assurance team at ReCharge Payments is dedicated to ensuring the delivery of top-notch software solutions through a combination of automated testing frameworks, manual feature evaluations, and product reliability assessments. A key initiative you will engage with involves an analytics platform aimed at assisting merchants in assessing their business performance, resolving customer concerns, and preparing for future expansion. This product serves as a critical component of our merchant experience and supports numerous other offerings.

As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating effectively with fellow engineers and product teams to pragmatically design and develop software solutions.
  • Creating automation tests to oversee and ensure the integrity of ReCharge product functionalities as our codebase evolves.
  • Evaluating merge requests and partnering with engineers to comprehend and assess code as it is deployed.
  • Guiding junior SDETs and participating in on-call rotations as necessary to maintain our products.
  • Leveraging your expertise to navigate engineering challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Typically, 5+ years of relevant software development experience with Python, Node.js, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript.
  • Experience with various automated testing frameworks, including Playwright, TestCafe, or similar E2E testing tools.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Previous experience in e-commerce is preferred.
  • Experience with analytics or time-series data products is a plus.
