Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Business Development Representative to join our team at Allied Power Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, with a focus on steam turbine repair and maintenance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, expanding existing customer relationships, and delivering exceptional customer service. They will work closely with our operations team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services
  • Continuously gather market intelligence and industry trends to inform sales strategies
  • Ensure all required client paperwork is complete and submitted on time

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of direct sales experience in the combustion and steam turbine repair industry
  • Proven track record of generating new business and expanding existing customer relationships
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with all processes associated with turbine maintenance and repair

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business or an Engineering discipline, or 10+ years of equivalent work experience

Work Environment:

  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet demands of the role
  • Up to 50% travel, including overnight travel
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear, with specific vision abilities required
