Human Resources Business Partner

Our client, a leading governance software company, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to support their HR division. This role will focus on strategic business needs and employee relations, collaborating with business leaders to deliver HR solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with business leaders to provide guidance on organizational and people-related strategy and execution.
- Offer expertise in career planning, performance management, coaching, compensation, employee relations, learning and development, and strategic development.
- Monitor and implement best practices in HR and stay informed on regulatory changes in employment law specific to the business area.
- Work closely with department heads to discuss strategies and ensure HR initiatives align with company goals.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2-3 years as a Human Resources Business Partner.
- Experience supporting business groups of 300+ employees.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong expertise in Excel.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and a professional, team-oriented approach.
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required.
Additional Details:
- 6-month contract position.
- Hybrid work setup (partially remote, partially onsite in NW Washington, DC).
- Background check required.
