The People Experience Business Partner (HRBP) role at Shield AI is a critical position that requires a deep understanding of business objectives and employee needs.

This position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.

The Business Partner maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture, and its competition.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting weekly meetings with business unit leaders to discuss key initiatives and challenges.
  • Providing HR guidance to line management on employee relations, performance management, and other HR-related matters.
  • Managing and resolving complex employee relations issues in collaboration with the Company's Legal department.
  • Analyzing trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Maintaining in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Requirements include a minimum of 8 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues and a working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.

A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
