As a key member of the Prisma Health team, the Executive Compensation Specialist will be responsible for administering executive compensation programs and initiatives that support the organization's strategic plan. This role will operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision, requiring a high degree of autonomy and expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Administer executive salary and wage programs, ensuring equitable and consistent application of compensation policies and guidelines.
- Study and analyze wage and/or salaried jobs using current market data, evaluating jobs using established evaluation systems and determining grades and preparing records of the validity of the evaluations.
- Conduct executive compensation surveys and participate in compensation surveys conducted by other organizations, developing and recommending job evaluation and compensation procedures.
- Assist in the administration of performance management programs for executives and administer executive incentive programs and deferred compensation plans.
- Audit and review salaries for conformance to policy, as well as evaluate the application of existing job classifications to individuals.
- Conduct market analyses and job evaluations for executives and top management, recommending appropriate salary grades and job titles based on external market data and/or analysis of internal positions.
- Consult with leaders on new job development and organizational structure changes, providing expert advice on all issues related to the Prisma Health Executive Compensation program, policies, and procedures.
- Advises leadership regarding salary administration problems and issues, including hiring offers, incentive and merit evaluations, equity adjustments, and other pay-related issues.
- Maintain knowledge of legal issues, including the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and advise management regarding legal compliance.
- Maintain and administer annual incentive programs and deferred compensation plans.
This is a non-management role that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
- 5 years of proven analytical experience in Executive Compensation, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field, with 2 years in healthcare, preferably.
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or Certified Compensation Professional.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
