Position Overview:

This role is primarily focused on establishing new business connections and nurturing existing client relationships. Responsibilities include maintaining a proactive outreach program, leveraging networking opportunities, conducting targeted prospecting initiatives, and enhancing the visibility of the Bank within the community. The incumbent will also be responsible for reporting activities to support the growth of business relationships and contribute to the Bank's profitability and lending goals.


Primary Responsibilities:


1. Develops new client relationships and services existing accounts by understanding their banking needs, offering suitable products and services, and addressing any performance issues.


2. Implements a proactive outreach strategy by utilizing referrals and other methods to identify potential clients, making cold calls, and promoting the Bank's offerings at professional gatherings and community events.


3. Cultivates relationships with referral sources, particularly CPAs and Attorneys, through regular communication, hosting appreciation events, and acknowledging their contributions to foster referrals and new business opportunities.


4. Collaborates with colleagues in Commercial, Retail, and Trust divisions to enhance the Bank's image and develop new business connections.


5. Increases the Bank's community presence by participating in local events and serving on boards of community organizations, thereby promoting the Bank's reputation.


6. Prepares and submits reports on business development activities, ensuring timely and accurate communication of relevant information to management.


7. Acts as a mentor and consultant to junior Business Development Officers and Commercial Bankers regarding effective development strategies.


All employees are expected to serve as risk managers by understanding, reporting, and managing the risks they encounter daily, in line with F.N.B. Corporation's risk management framework.

Minimum Education:
Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS)

Minimum Years Experience:
7 years

- Strong project management capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superior customer service abilities
- Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in personal computer applications and job-related software
- Basic proficiency in MS Word
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel
- Basic proficiency in MS PowerPoint
- Experience in commercial or business banking, with a general understanding of lending laws and regulations. Proven success in business development and community engagement is preferred.
