We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our team at Amada America, Inc. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for growing and maintaining positive relationships with our customers, while aggressively developing new prospects within your designated territory.
Key Responsibilities- Maximize product sales and achieve all sales and activity targets
- Inform and educate customers on new technologies and advancements by Amada
- Make routine sales calls on established customers
- Identify and develop new accounts using industry guides and cold calling
- Encourage and perform regular customer demos at Solution and Technical Centers
- Maximize customer attendance and participation in Solution Center and Technical Center events
- Provide status reports and call reports to Regional Manager
- Coordinate the sales order process through Amada departments to ensure timely order processing
- Utilize Amada's internal knowledge management system to maintain accurate customer and prospect databases
- Engineering degree in a related field and/or equivalent sales experience
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), detailed-oriented
- Computer knowledge (word processing and spreadsheets)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software products (e.g. PowerPoint and Excel) for use in sales presentations
Frequent travel is required to visit customers and prospects within your designated territory. You must reside near Columbus, OH.
Pay Structure: $72,000 base salary plus commission
