About ASM Global: ASM Global stands as the premier venue management organization and creator of live event experiences, overseeing more than 350 venues across the globe.
Role Overview: The Senior Sales Account Specialist will be tasked with executing daily sales accounting functions at The Broward Convention Center. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless operations and client satisfaction.
- Conduct site tours for clients as necessary.
- Prepare and present sales proposals to both existing and potential clients.
- Draft leasing contracts and proposals tailored to clients within designated market segments.
- Manage the INSIGHT Program and compile monthly event reports.
- Oversee rental deposits and event payments, ensuring adherence to booking system timelines.
- Generate invoices, issue payment reminders, and follow up on outstanding client balances.
- Engage in weekly meetings and assist the Sales and Marketing Department with various administrative tasks.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- An associate degree or 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in Customer Service, Marketing, Sales, Finance, or Accounting.
- Experience in the Hospitality Industry or Convention Center is advantageous.
Skills and Competencies:
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Aptitude for mastering necessary software and spreadsheets.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and engage with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Capacity to maintain productive working relationships with clients, employees, customers, and vendors.
Physical Requirements: The role necessitates prolonged periods of sitting, handling files, operating office equipment, and effective communication.
