About the Role:

PrideStaff is currently seeking a skilled Senior Project Control Analyst to enhance our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management and financial analysis, particularly within the federal contracting sector.

Compensation: Competitive salary range based on experience.

Location: Flexible work environment with a hybrid model.

Work Schedule: Standard business hours, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive cost, schedule, and funding planning, along with reporting and analytical support to Program Managers and executive leadership.
  • Develop and sustain project-level forecasts for Financial Planning and Analysis.
  • Oversee project initiation in alignment with contractual obligations and requirements.
  • Compile program financial Estimates at Complete (EAC) and ensure timely submissions.
  • Identify and assess project risks and opportunities, collaborating with various departments to find resolutions.
  • Evaluate all contract modifications and communicate potential impacts to the program management team.
  • Monitor weekly costs and workforce metrics, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Conduct thorough analytical reviews and arithmetic validations of cost reporting documents.
  • Generate precise variance analyses and reporting.
  • Assist in preparing Internal Program Review (IPR) presentations for leadership.
  • Compile financial Contract Data Requirements (CDRL) for programs, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analyses as requested by project management.
  • Track funding and contract statuses, providing timely updates as necessary.
  • Support accounts receivable during billing processes, addressing unbilled issues in collaboration with Finance and Contracts.
  • Prepare accruals for subcontractors and vendors in accordance with financial reporting standards.
  • Ensure program revenue and profit recognition aligns with EAC compliance.
  • Analyze profit-related risks and opportunities, advising management on strategic decisions.
  • Uphold internal controls and adhere to company policies regarding contract performance and financial management.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in Business or Program Management is preferred, along with 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in Program Control or a related field.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Program Control or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with various contract types including Firm Fixed Price, Time and Materials, and Cost Plus contracts.
  • Proficiency in Excel and the MS Office suite, with knowledge of relevant software applications.
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint is advantageous.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation.
  • High ethical standards and integrity.
  • Ability to foster relationships across the organization and drive transformation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging with all organizational levels, including senior management.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork and collaboration across departments.
