Financial Operations Coordinator

As a Financial Operations Coordinator, you will be integral in overseeing fiscal documentation, budgets, and expenditures for our various construction initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the project team in managing all financial aspects related to projects.
- Adhere to established financial protocols and guidelines.
- Contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional service to clients and partners.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of intercompany accounts.
- Report directly to the Accounting Manager and/or Project Executives.
- Maintain and update financial documentation for construction projects, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and evaluate financial statements, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Monitor project budgets, costs, and expenditures, ensuring adherence to financial regulations and company policies.
- Track project expenses, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead.
- Collaborate with project managers and contractors to collect cost data and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist in preparing cost estimates for construction projects and contribute to budget planning.
Qualifications:
- Preferred Associate/Bachelor of Science in Accounting and/or Finance.
- Two to five years of experience in accounting or operations is preferred.
- Experience in the commercial construction industry is advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Enjoy working with numbers and engaging with people; must demonstrate outstanding customer service skills.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and a strong team player.
- Exhibit a positive attitude and a passion for the construction industry.
- Willingness to actively engage in team activities.
Technical Proficiencies:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.).
- Notary Public certification is a plus.
