Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare quarterly financial statements and comprehensive reports.
  • Oversee fixed asset management and depreciation schedules.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting policies and standards.
  • Work collaboratively across departments to ensure precise financial reporting.
  • Lead the accounting team, offering guidance and mentorship.

Qualifications We Seek:

  • Expertise in Construction Accounting: In-depth knowledge of job costing, accounts payable/receivable, and the flow of financial statements.
  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated ability to manage and develop an accounting team.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Professional Experience: At least 5 years in construction accounting, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Software Skills: Familiarity with Timberline or Sage300 is preferred.
  • Professional Credentials: CPA, CMA, or MBA is advantageous but not mandatory.
