Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at Peoplepack LLC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate payment of our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and process electronic time sheets for upload to payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare for payroll processing by entering HR/Payroll information into the system, including garnishments, benefit adjustments, and deductions.
  • Assist in the production and issuance of manual paychecks and/or off-cycle electronic transfers to bank accounts.
  • Investigate and resolve any payroll discrepancies and process manual payments as needed.
  • Collaborate with management to update payroll policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with industry trends and best practices.
  • Provide payroll and timekeeping support to managers and staff, ensuring timely responses to payroll inquiries and concerns.
  • Train and coach employees on the use of the payroll and timekeeping system as needed.
  • Ensure timely submission of 403(b) deferrals to the third-party administrator.

Requirements:

  • Two years of payroll experience, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Full-cycle payroll processing experience from start to finish.
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP experience.
  • UKG/UltiPro experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • FPC or CPP certification is highly desirable.
