Job Summary

Advantage SCI is seeking a highly skilled Personnel Security Specialist II to support a federal agency personnel security program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting complex security assessment investigations, analyzing data, and providing recommendations to ensure the security and integrity of our clients' operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigative Analysis: Conduct thorough investigations to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities, and provide recommendations to mitigate these risks.
  • Security Clearance Processing: Process security clearance applications, conduct background checks, and review investigative reports to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
  • Database Management: Maintain and update personnel security documentation files, and perform database searches to identify potential security risks.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Security Risk Assessment: Conduct regular security risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and provide recommendations to mitigate these risks.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree with two years' experience or associate degree with four years' experience in a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of four years' experience in personnel security, investigative analysis, or a related field.
  • Clearance: Current TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility and willingness to pass a security CI polygraph exam.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience with Federal LE and IC IT systems for conducting automated record checks.
Working Conditions
  • Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
  • Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach.
  • Able to sit, stand, walk, and run.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
