Position Overview

The Human Resources Site Coordinator plays a pivotal role in managing HR functions at the local level. This position may also serve as a liaison for various departments, including communications and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Input all new employee data into the HRIS system, along with updates such as terminations and status changes, in accordance with company policies and established HRIS Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Conduct weekly audits of timesheets to ensure accurate payroll processing.
  • Facilitate background checks and other pre-employment screening processes.
  • Lead New Hire Orientation sessions, covering benefits, company policies, and procedures.
  • Oversee site-specific timekeeping systems and address any performance issues.
  • Generate reports on employee data, including financial and labor metrics; may review and audit invoice reports.
  • Assist employees in completing electronic forms related to address, status, and benefit modifications.
  • Support recruitment efforts, including screening, interviewing, hiring, and training new staff.
  • Coordinate orders and requests with vendors for office supplies, equipment, and temporary staffing.
  • Communicate updates and announcements regarding company policies to employees.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by site management.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of progressive administrative support experience is necessary.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred; if no degree, equivalent HR experience is desirable.
  • Experience with HR/payroll systems is advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, along with strong data entry and typing skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information to groups.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Positive demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations and operational manuals, and to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Capability to manage small project assignments as needed.
