About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to join our team at Relation Insurance Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing client relationships and providing strategic assistance with complex insurance needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Assist in the design of insurance plans tailored to meet clients' unique needs.
  • Act as a field underwriter and authorized representative of insurance carriers, determining coverage and binding policies as necessary.
  • Strategically assist in the remarketing of renewals to ensure high account retention.
  • Oversee the preparation of proposals, including submissions, loss evaluations, and risk analysis.
  • Prepare summaries of insurance and schedules, ensuring timely and accurate quotations and policies.
  • Support client needs by producing binders, certificates, policies, endorsements, and other related items.
  • Verify policy accuracy and ensure timely renewal.
  • Assist clients in submitting first reports of claims, arranging adjusters and/or claims team visits as needed.
  • Review policy audits and verify their accuracy.
  • Review cancellations and determine reasons for cancellation requests, attempting to save client accounts while maintaining company financial equity.
  • Stay abreast of industry information, new products, legislation, coverage, and technology.
  • Recommend process improvements as needed.
  • Quickly identify and resolve complex client service issues.
Requirements
  • A Property and Casualty License from the state of domicile is required and must be maintained.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is preferred.
  • A college degree is preferred.
  • 3-5 years' account management experience in the insurance industry, specifically in personal lines of coverage, is required.
  • In-depth understanding of advanced personal lines of coverage and ability to advise clients on complex insurance needs.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • A valid driver's license, ability to travel to client sites, and reliable transportation are required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for maintaining effective relationships with clients, coworkers, carriers, vendors, and others.
