About the Role:
The Benefits Account Manager plays a crucial role in utilizing independent judgment to assist Consultants in delivering TPG services to our Employee Benefits Division clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for assigned clients
- Collaborate with Consultants to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual presentations for service meetings
- Support the renewal process
- Organize and facilitate employee enrollment meetings as needed
- Manage the marketing survey process for clients and aid in RFP development
- Onboard new clients into our systems
Essential Information:
Location: Hybrid remote opportunities available
Work Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience
Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods, communicate effectively, and manage screen time.
Travel Requirements: Minimal overnight travel may be necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in employee benefits and insurance is essential
- Prior customer service experience is mandatory
- Active health insurance producer or consultant license required; life insurance license preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Attributes:
- Professional designation in employee benefits (e.g., CEBS, RHU)
- Ability to work collaboratively to provide exceptional client service
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented, quick learner, and self-motivated
- Proven track record of prioritizing client needs
