Employee Benefits Account Management Specialist

Position Overview:
The Employee Benefits Account Management Specialist is responsible for overseeing essential relationships within our Major Accounts Division. This role involves daily interactions with both existing and prospective clients, developing and executing comprehensive employee benefits strategies, and delivering tailored services to our most intricate clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary client-facing representative for daily client requirements, issue resolution, vendor management, and scheduling meetings. Collaborate closely with the VP of Major Accounts to address elevated needs and negotiations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all clients through various communication channels, including phone, in-person meetings, email, and written correspondence.
  • Assist clients with necessary documentation, including consultations with the client's staff and legal advisors when appropriate.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries from current or potential clients.
  • Identify and propose additional product offerings to existing clients to enhance sales opportunities and fulfill client needs.
  • Address client complaints and resolve issues satisfactorily.
  • Provide ongoing customer support post-sale and maintain regular contact with clients, periodically reviewing their needs and updating their records.
  • Stay informed about all products and services available through the agency.
  • Participate in industry training programs as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
  • Proven experience in cultivating and enhancing relationships with primary client contacts.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Creative and efficient in preparing materials for client presentations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex employee benefits accounts.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Consulting license preferred.
