Position Overview:

The Program Coordinator at Laradon will manage comprehensive residential services for children and youth in our specialized program. This role entails supervising Residential Counselors and collaborating with the executive leadership team to enhance the quality of life and developmental progress for the youth we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and implement program activities.
  • Address and report any facility maintenance concerns.
  • Guide staff in enhancing their professional skills, ensuring they receive the necessary support to make informed clinical decisions. Organize and facilitate training sessions in collaboration with a BCBA.
  • Develop and implement weekly activity plans in conjunction with Residential Counselors for the youth.
  • Ensure adequate staffing coverage and manage overtime documentation, including providing direct care as needed.
  • Be available for on-call support during designated shifts.
  • Engage in staff and leadership meetings to foster team collaboration.
  • Ensure the medical and health needs of the youth are adequately addressed.
  • Ensure timely completion of incident reports and follow up as required.
  • Maintain effective communication with governing bodies, families, providers, and the community.
  • Assist in quality assurance and policy development to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Represent Laradon positively within the community.
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling support to youth as necessary.
  • Transport participants as required for program activities.
  • Maintain consistent and punctual attendance.
  • As a small organization, physical presence in the office is essential for collaboration and teamwork.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field preferred; an Associate's degree with relevant experience may also be considered.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Management experience and familiarity with Trauma-Informed Care are advantageous.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
  • Physical capability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
