About the Role:

The Program Coordinator at Laradon will oversee comprehensive residential services for children and youth within our dedicated program. This position involves managing a team of Residential Counselors and collaborating with the executive leadership to ensure optimal quality of life and development for the youth in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and implement engaging programming.
  • Address and report any facility maintenance concerns.
  • Guide staff in enhancing their performance, ensuring they are supported in making informed clinical decisions. Provide training and development opportunities in collaboration with a BCBA.
  • Coordinate the creation and execution of weekly activity schedules by Residential Counselors.
  • Manage shift coverage and document any overtime, including providing direct care as needed.
  • Be available for on-call support during scheduled shifts.
  • Participate actively in staff and leadership meetings.
  • Ensure the medical and health needs of children and youth are met.
  • Oversee the timely completion of incident reports and ensure appropriate follow-up.
  • Maintain effective communication with governing bodies, families, service providers, and the community.
  • Assist in quality assurance initiatives and policy development to meet compliance standards.
  • Represent Laradon positively within the community.
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling as required.
  • Transport participants as necessary for program activities.
  • Exhibit consistent and punctual attendance.
  • As a small organization, collaboration is key; therefore, physical presence in the office is essential for fulfilling job responsibilities.

Essential Information:

  • Compensation: Annual salary ranging from $55,000 to $70,000, commensurate with experience and education.
  • Pre-Employment Requirements: Successful completion of a pre-employment physical and background checks.
