About the Role

Urban Peak is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Clinician to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to youth experiencing homelessness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Duties:
    • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans to support positive mental health outcomes for youth on caseload.
    • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify youth's needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
    • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to youth, focusing on building resilience, coping skills, and emotional regulation.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for youth.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners to ensure seamless referrals and transitions.
  • General Job Duties:
    • Represent Urban Peak in the community, providing education and advocacy on issues related to homelessness and mental health.
    • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
    • Develop and implement life skills training programs to support youth in achieving self-sufficiency.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of services.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with youth, preferably in a clinical or therapeutic setting.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification.
  • Experience working with homeless youth, trauma-informed care, and crisis intervention.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
