Job Overview

gTANGIBLE Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Visitor Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing visitor management support to the Federal Protective Service (FPS) Visitor Management and Access Control (VMAC) program office located at the St. Elizabeths Campus, Washington D.C.

The VMAC program is responsible for overseeing the Visitor Management and Access Control at St. Elizabeths, providing security at the facilities, and ensuring the safety of employees on site. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in visitor management in private, public, or federal facilities that require controlled access processes.

The Visitor Management Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that visitors are properly screened and cleared before being granted access to the facility. This will involve reviewing and approving visit requests, conducting background checks, and issuing parking passes as needed.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for coordinating with FPS technical representatives to ensure that requests are processed in a manner that meets Agency operational needs. Additionally, they will be responsible for answering telephones and electronic emails related to Visitor Management duties.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure visitor screening and clearance before granting access to the facility
  • Review and approve visit requests
  • Conduct background checks using the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database
  • Issue parking passes as needed
  • Coordinate with FPS technical representatives to ensure requests are processed in a manner that meets Agency operational needs
  • Answer telephones and electronic emails related to Visitor Management duties

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years of experience in visitor management in private, public, or federal facilities that require controlled access processes
  • Experience with NCIC/NLETS is highly desired
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
