Job Summary

  • Assist with the development of acquisition plans and milestones to ensure timely execution of awards.
  • Edit and author statements of work, performance work statements, and other contract-related documents.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential contract vehicles.
  • Develop and implement solicitation and evaluation strategies.
  • Evaluate quotations and proposals to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
  • Make award decisions and negotiate contract terms.
  • Work closely with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to resolve performance-related issues.
  • Exercise options and contract extensions as necessary.
  • Track expenditures and project progress.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business-related field or 10 years of federal contract specialist experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a contract specialist.
  • DAWIA or FAC-C Level II or III certification preferred.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
